([livejournal.com profile] lostpuffin, I'm not sure how much you like Jack/Sawyer, but this is what sprung to mind when I read your prompt. I hope you enjoy it all the same!)

"Doc, you and I just turned into 12-year-old girls."

Jack giggled. This only further proved Sawyer's point.

The two grown men lay side by side spread-eagled on the ground. Beneath them was a thick blanket of freshly fallen snow which they had intended to shovel out of their driveway. Instead, here they were, lying flat on their backs, moving their limbs in repetitive back-and-forth motions.

"C'mon, it's fun making snow angels," said Jack. "Kinda relaxing, too..."

"Well by God, I never thought I'd see the day when you started giving out relaxation advice. Ow!" Sawyer received a smack from Jack across the chest.

"Well..." Jack began. "There have been some changes in my life." He smiled and reached over for Sawyer's hand.

"Son of a bitch, you're ruinin' my snow angel!" Sawyer exclaimed. He sat up with a cheshire grin, his left hand grabbing a handful of snow which he flung at Jack. It hit him square in the face, leaving glistening white flakes in his stubble.

"Oh yeah?" challenged Jack. He dove at Sawyer, pinning him down with a kiss; long, slow and deep.

"Watch it, Doc, you'll start to melt the whole place," Sawyer said, gesturing to the area around them. He brought his leather-gloved hand to Jack's face to wipe away the remnants of his snowball attack.

"I think we better go make a snowman before that happens, then." Jack removed himself from Sawyer's embrace and started shovelling snow into a pile for making snowman body parts. Bewildered, Sawyer simply stared at him. Then, with a sigh, he finally got up to help.

"12-year-old girls, Doc."
