Title: I'm Not Good With WordsFandom: Lost
Characters/Pairing: Sawyer/Sayid
Rating: PG
Word Count: 84

Summary: A haiku from Sawyer's perspective.
Disclaimer: I don't own Lost. At all.
Author's Notes: For
haldoor, who requested
Sawyer/Sayid and
poetry, specifically haikus, at
lostsquee's 2009 Luau. I've never written Sawyer/Sayid before and I have no idea where this came from, but I think it turned out alright, and I attribute that to your wonderful prompt,
haldoor! I hope you like it!
_________________________________I'm not good with words;
It's easier using fists.
But I tried to talk.
Sayid's attention,
That is what I tried to get.
It worked, in a way.
I can tell he's smart.
A different type from me.
That's what intrigues me.
Sayid is the first
to extend an olive branch.
I want to take it.
But I know I can't,
Because deep down I know that
I need to stay smart.
Because Sayid's smart.
A different type from me.
That's what intrigues me.
